my rtai modules are coming from /usr/realtime-2.6.15-magma/modules --
does that sound right? /dev/rtai_shm comes and goes when in
insmod/rmmod rtai_shm.ko from that directory.

==stump,root(2)>> modinfo /usr/realtime-2.6.15-magma/modules/rtai_shm.ko
filename:       /usr/realtime-2.6.15-magma/modules/rtai_shm.ko
license:        GPL
vermagic:       2.6.15-magma 586TSC gcc-4.0
depends:

many thanks for your help,

paul
