Congratulations Sebastian, (Condolences to those near you ;)

I am not sure grease is a good idea, unless the manufacturer calls for
it. I had grease on my Bridgeport ways and screws and the friction was
reduced when I took it apart, cleaned it all off and replaced it with
Vactra 2:
