I should take some movies while the next project is underway too. What proggy
that runs under linux can I use to smunch it down to you-tube fuzz quality?

I have some regular bellows stock, to shield the post and the ways, just
haven't gotten a round tuit yet, I will probably have to make that too...

So I've noted, that's the third one now, so I buy the 5 dollar ones at yard
sales every time I spot one. You are right of course but I'd need to find
some clear stuff. Mmm, used to have a sheet of something on the wall behind
the cooking stove in the kitchen, thick, hot grease proof and clear. The
wife took it out when I converted it to gas about 3 years back. She knows
where she got that stuff and it would be ideal for that. :)
That whole keyboard shelf needs redone, its not wide enough, no convenient
place for the mouse and it collects way too many tools that want to fall off
and that should be on another shelf below that one. It was what I had at the
time. :(

The 'esc' key in emc serves as the e-stop if one is not otherwise rigged.
That detail however IS on the agenda for when the driver box gains a 4th
channel.

Those molex's don't wiggle loose, but because the back is open & swarf could
get in, I have a couple bags of the 4 pin, screw ring retainer types as seen
on CB radios, now lost in the bowels of the USPS or UPS. When they get here,
that whole little red oak box with the fans in both ends that the cables are
hanging out of now gets redone for the 4 axis amp, and all those molex's will
become the newer, enclosed stuff that's coming. When you are out,
figuratively speaking, in the sticks and hollows of West Virginia, you have
to mail order just about everything.
So far, the only places where the cables rub is against the top of the
porcelain covered steel base cabinet its sitting on. And the cables are
Belden's 'Star Quad' intended for ultra low noise microphone cables, and the
jackets are pretty well immune to the flying oils as they are built to be
largely immune to the oils in human skin (and in the so called hand lotions
the on camera talent uses too). I have some in use at the tv station I'm
almost retired from, for 15 years and they look and feel great yet. We've
had to re-make the ends due to flex failures at the back of the XLR
connectors but that's it.
Someday I'd like to replace the screws bearing housings with something with
real bearings, and those steel cross slide couplings I made with something
lighter and shorter, those things can handle 200 ft/lbs but weigh a couple of
pounds each. Severe overkill.
