My best guess according to what I've been able to find so far is that the 
servos use 2048ppr incremental encoders. The only thing I know is that the 
resolution is .001mm axis movement per pulse. This rig can rapid move at at 
least 500 in/minute, although I never run it that fast. At the servo rating 
of 3,000rpm, that would be 102,400 steps per second. I would guess that the 
current control is using velocity mode. I guess I should figure that out 
before I trash it, eh?
