I have a 3-axis router that needs a new control system. It is now running on orphaned, buggy, proprietary control software under an orphaned, buggy, proprietary operating system. The computer needs to be replaced, as well as the Galil DMC-1000 card that actually runs the machine in order to switch to EMC2. I will therefore be rewiring most of the system.
First, is any of the following hardware problematic with EMC2? Elo 1247 touchscreen display Yaskawa SGDA series servo amplifiers driving Yaskawa SGM series AC servos Motortronics CSD series VFID Daido "Manual Pulse Generator" quadrature handwheel Second, does anyone have any specific computer hardware recommendations?
