You mean beyond the Hall sensors? For position feedback to EMC2, I
usually put an encoder on the axis ballscrew. If they need an
incremental encoder, I know someone with a machine shop that could
probably put one on... or I mean get it installed.

I guess the 1kHz PWM is the clue to not being a suitable axis motor
driver.

I'm trying to get pricing. If I get one I could send it to you. I was
hoping that this might be a source for DIY CNC priced brushless motors,
without resorting to the eBay crap shoot.
