I hacked the map some more, and now the markers should only be visible to registered users. So if you're not signed in, you can't see any data (except the data we publish, like the EMC Fest location for this year). We can also add other markers (NAMES maybe? or any other emc events..). If you're still uncomfortable with adding your address, the City name should be more than enough.
