I certainly don't want to discourage your effort, but I suppose no one has found the need for your application, yet. I know when I have a need for your application, I will be making a pest of myself. In briefly considering how I might try to use your application, it seems that in its current form, one would be limited to engraving fine lines on a flat surface. What might be interesting would be to use the current path to come up with a three dimensional surface. Perhaps, use the original path as it is, then change Z with parallel paths. On the other hand, converting the path to an image, using GIMP to shade it, then using the image-to-g-code filter in the .ini file could be another way, but this would rasterize the surface. -- Kirk Wallace http://www.wallacecompany.com/machine_shop/ http://www.wallacecompany.com/E45/index.html California, USA ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ Emc-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users
