This problem does not occur with trivkins and the same ini/hal file. The problem occurs in Free/joint mode, as soon as motion is enabled. stepgen.0.pos-fb creeps slowly up, and joint[0] with it. max f-error is set at 100mm at the moment, so it gets that far before f-error trips. There is no sign of any movement on motor-pos-cmd or stepgen-position-cmd or axis.joint-pos-cmd
As far as I am aware the kins modules do not even run in free.joint mode. This is borne out by the observation that a HAL pin that is set in the kins module is not moving, the only reason I mention kinematics at all is that the problem is not if I select trivkins in HAL.
