Just checking, because that's how I understood it.

Peck tapping does not need to fully retract, (as we understand peck tapping)
it's closer related to a G73 than a G83.
Full retract might have its uses too. It's just one of at least three ways
to get a thread to depth :)

With the spindle a true servo this may be the machine to try the hand wheel
tapping. It should be very easy to drive ZC in a coordinated fashion.
