Hi Kent
This was one of the things I tested, but as the other computer worked
flawlessly, I changed my power supply first. This was not the problem.

It turnes out to be the custom kernel I made by patching a 2.6.32.19 with an
rtai 2.6.32.11.
It seemd to work, at least with my ethercat-system. But it fails with motenc,
without any error messages.

Running with the stock emc ubuntu distribution, the same system worked
flawlessly yesterday. Stress test continues today. And if I find some alu platte
I will try to mill the emc entry logo...
