Hello all, I am sizing up a Kitamura Mycenter 0 for a potential EMC2 retrofit.
The Z axis servo (Fanuc red cap 5S/3000) is equipped with the brake option and the brake is stuck. There are 2 leads supplying 112vdc to the brake connector on the servo, but the brake refuses to unlock. Has anyone ever had one of these servos apart? Do you know if the brake mechanism is a disk clutch or some sort of retractable pin and socket? Could it have been damaged in transit? Thanks in advance for any insights.
