You would put RC networks across the windings to damp out the specific frequency band of the resonance. If you wanted to get really fancy, you could even use a parallel LC element with a series resistor to tune it to the resonant frequency. Being an electrical guy, whipping up an electrical version of a viscous damper would be my first choice, but I have to admit I have never tried it.
