In that case, get motors from eBay and drives from Pico or Mesa (no
point paying for fancy industrial-type drives when you will be
offloading all the work to EMC2 anyway).

I paid £50 for three AC servos from eBay (500W) and they will be
running with Mesa 8i20 drives. (around E200)
