I wonder if one end of the gantry could have an independent comp that
just keeps alignment with the master side. The alignment could be by
reading were a laser hits a target, or a webcam/telescope reading a
target from the other side. This would need to be enclosed in a tube
spanning the two sides and linked with e-stop. EMC2 would just control
the master side.
