I have ps2 style wired keyboard and mouse on one machine, and a logitek wireless usb keyboard mouse on the other. Its fine as long as the receiver stays within 2 feet of both. No apparent effect on the latency of those D525MW atom powered boards, which runs with about 4 to 5 microseconds jitter.
