Well, I have seen USB effects with keyboards and mice (especially with mouse input) on older boards but retired the boards before making useful measurements. An example effect was a jump in the latency counts each time I clicked on a window to give it "focus". I haven't seen the effect on the two different Atom-based boards I have had recently but I now test to make sure.
