John Kasunich made some improments to the bldc component at the fest, which made a significant improvement to his motor performance (half the current and twice the speed) by setting the phase angle to half way between "now" and "next" angles. I thought the changes had been pushed, but I can't see them in the git log. In the meantime, you could experiment with changing the lead angle manually (at a fixed speed) to see what happens. Unfortunately the exact angle (try 90 to 95 degrees) is only right for one particular speed. -- atp If you can't fix it, you don't own it. http://www.ifixit.com/Manifesto ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ See everything from the browser to the database with AppDynamics Get end-to-end visibility with application monitoring from AppDynamics Isolate bottlenecks and diagnose root cause in seconds.
