A Xilinx XC3S400, such as the 7I43 uses, has: Number of LABs/CLBs 896 Number of Logic Elements/Cells 8064
The Zynq Z-7010 on the Parallela board has: Programmable Logic Cells 28K Look-Up Tables 17,600 Flip-flops 35,200 The ARM processor is a hard-core, not a soft-core, so does not use any of the fpga logic cells (except for memory interfacing etc). Hostmot2 should have no trouble fitting. The ARM-9 in the Zynq is 2-core, and has a double precision vector FPU.
