My router has 2x 7i39s (3rd connector is for all the gpio on 7i37) and a stepper motor for 5th joint, so I need a custom firmare with stepgen outputs on "sense" lines anyway. I had 5i23 in there, but had to urgently use that card in another machine, so now I need to fill the empty slot in the router and price of 5i24 seems way more attractive. I just have 2 questions: 1) do I understand correctly that firmware for 2x 7i39s and few stepgens is not that demaning and also smaller fpga of 5i24 will handle it with ease? 2) could you help me out with the firmware file? or at least share vhd file of 5i24 firmware for 7i39 card, so that I could try to add stepgens to it?
