I did install the older 2.something deb for 10.04.4 LTS. Those fonts worked well and I sent Dave some gcode that should be in the ballpark of usable. The problem with TrueType-Tracer ATM is a lack of docs to explain how to use the fill feature that 3.0 is supposed to have now. > On Wed, 2014-09-10 at 08:50 -0700, dave wrote: > > Hi all, > > > > I'm trying to run engrave-11.py and although it comes up and I can > > fill in the parameters I want I seem to get no output. > > > > Ubuntu 10.04 LTS > > Python 2.6.5 (r265:79063, Feb 27 2014, 19:44:14) > > > > clipboard which works with vim and gedit doesn't contain > > any output. > > > > I'm apparently missing something that ought to be obvious but > > so far I've not stumbled over it. > > > > A gentle shove in the right direction would be appreciated. > > > > TIA > > > > Dave Cheers, Gene Heskett -- "There are four boxes to be used in defense of liberty: soap, ballot, jury, and ammo.
