I've no idea what the circuitry is like inside the Animatics control 
box, neither does Moog Animatics. Apparently during the buyout/merger 
they destroyed all the documentation on old Animatics products.

I'd want some isolated way of tapping into the serial cable to sniff the 
data.

Anyone have an inline RS232C data logger I can borrow for a short time? 
:) Has to be able to work at 19200, the default speed of this mill. The 
only other speed it can run at is 9600, which has to be configured 
through a SET command before running PLM2000.
