I have used both types of cables described here but the full duplex is probably what you are after. It is simple to make the hard part is keeping straight in your head which side is transmit and receive for each device. LOL If you log all the data with time stamp you can view the logs in a program for comparing differences in text files and go through step by step and see what’s going on. If you are really brave you can copy parts of the transmission log and send them from the spy terminal and see if things move or behave as expected.
