Greetings all;

Running master-rt here on 3 machines now.

Trying to fine tune my homing, I ran into an undefined keyword,

MAX_OUTPUT = 31.25

line inserted in my .ini file, presumably by pncconf.

It was set to 31.25. And I got rid of following errors during the
HOME_FINAL_VEL phase by raising it to 50.0 in the first 3 axis's.

Then I sat down with my 14 month old (April 2014) copy of the Integrators
Manual, to see what I could learn. My back needed the rest, but it
didn't make me any schmardter since that keyword variable was not
mentioned in about 400 pages of dead tree.

So, where can I find a reference that explains this new to me KEYWORD?

Thanks.

In addition to nailing down some of the cabling with some wiring clips, I
still need to locate a couple small cast boxes, one to semi-hide the Z
home switch and a bunch of shrink covered solder joint that tie that
whole chain into one series, all NC wired switches, and another somewhat
larger, say about 2x2x1, for the junction of the short cable from the
spindle motor which will be extended with a hunk of drop cord and
plugged into the other half of that cord which is being fed by one of
Jon's PWM driven servo amps. I ripped that whole 5x5x6 box off the side
of the head since everything in it will be being done by the computer,
so if anyone needs a spare, I have one for a small stipend or trade.

And of course some connectors so the stepper motors can be disconnected,
and I have seen steppers with a side or end mounted box to hide the
cable junction, but these don't have an handy was to attach a small box
to stuff all those wire nuts into. Are you folks drilling & tapping the
end caps side or something along those lines in order to attach a box
right over the pigtail exit?

Righ now, gotta find a car wash, we have Dee's class re-union to attend
to tomorrow, & Dee would like a semi-clean car. So I am likely D.I.T.W.
the majority of this weekend.

Cheers, Gene Heskett
