Which version of LinuxCNC are you using? In 2.7 incremental jogging (which I think includes wheel jogging) is not supported, as described in the Gantrykins documentation: http://linuxcnc.org/docs/2.7/html/man/man9/gantrykins.9.html Unless your machine is set up with separate home switches for each side to support auto-squaring then it might be simpler to configure as a simple slaved config and trivkins (ie, just send the X step pulses to two drives) If you do wish to use Gantrykins then you should consider using the joints_axes12 development branch of LinuxCNC (which needs more testing, but has been reliable on my trivkins machines for years).
