These are the OEM switches on a couple of machines we have, fit in a 16mm hole, with a pannel thickness of up to about a 1/4" thick. http://www.deca.com.tw/ENVersion/product_detail.php?id=179&table=product1EN&type=Pushbutton+Switches or http://www.deca.com.tw/ENVersion/product_detail.php?id=98&table=product1EN&type=Pushbutton+Switches
There are also square and rectangular ones (fit the same hole.) Not sure how hard they are to acquire, I've only gotten replacements from the OEM. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Gene Heskett" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, March 7, 2017 2:40:17 PM Subject: Re: [Emc-users] damn radio shack On Tuesday 07 March 2017 07:39:58 John Thornton wrote: > You can get 22mm push buttons from Automation Direct > > https://www.automationdirect.com/adc/Shopping/Catalog/Pushbuttons_-z-_ >Switches_-z-_Indicators > I'd have to "move the hole" to use a 22m switch. I'm going to saddle up the toy and go see if Lowes has any of the real old style doorbell buttons. Screw terminals on the back, mounted in a small drilled hole in the siding. 1/2" or maybe 5/8" hole. Yeah, on the web page they have a couple that could be used if the fawncy bezel is binned. I'm gonna go look since if they have 2, I can be wiring yet today. > JT > > On 3/7/2017 3:55 AM, Gene Heskett wrote: > > On Tuesday 07 March 2017 04:28:48 andy pugh wrote: > >> On 7 March 2017 at 00:54, Gene Heskett <[email protected]> wrote: > >>> Surely you aren't paying those > >>> prices on your side of the pond? > >> > >> No, I source the switches first and make panel cutouts to suit. > >> > >> You can try an eBay search for "MAME" to find lots of cheap > >> buttons: > >> http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1 > >>313 .TR12.TRC2.A0.H0.Xmame+buttons.TRS0&_nkw=mame+buttons&_sacat=0 > > > > And all are 2x the diameter I have clear, 30mm or 1&1/4".
