Now that I have 3d printer (about 3 weeks now) - I am an expert. - My printer (monoprice select mini) runs at 50mm/s(118in/min) and that is considered on the slow end and very high acceleration. I think speed/acc is going to be your problem...
- I have printed pla with heat on the bed and without. Both seem to work ok.
