A problem that happens with large 3D printed items made with FDM is shrinkage and curling. Even with the bed of my MP Mini cranked up to 80C PLA will still shrink and curl away from the bed. I need to build an enclosure to keep drafts off it. My build surface is a sheet of picture frame glass with some heavy Kapton film. Most things stick quite well, except for things with a large area in contact with the surface. I'm thinking of making a second removable plate with Buildtak or something similar to see if that'll hold it down. Here's the stuff I've put on Thingiverse, including some items for the MP Mini printer. The first thing I did was the friction reducer for the spool holder. Works great and much simpler than any roller thing.
