Gene, According to the G76 man page: "Note: When G7 Lathe Diameter Mode is in force the values for I, J and K are diameter measurements. When G8 Lathe Radius Mode is in force the values for I, J and K are radius measurements." Also, according to that page it claims that it is an error if the active plane is not the ZX plane.
