I don't understand what you mean, or what you did. I thought that you had a HAL file by now? Why are you re-running PnCConf? If you edit the HAL then run PnCConf then all your edits will be lost. Use PnCConfo to create a set of HAL, INI and other files, then work on those files directly. Also, pasting the main HAL file in to the Custom HAL file will completely break the config too. Create a config with PnCCOnf for some card or other (Done?) Edit that config to use a different card name (Done?) Change hm2_pci to hm2_eth, and add a "board_ip=..." parameter Tweak the config files until there are no errors and LinuxCNC starts.
