By default LinuxCNC will approximate a series of short linear moves into a
series of short tangential arcs that touch each segment.
So the final result might actually be closer to a true spiral than the
4-arcs-per-rev solution.

But for cutting out the middle of a hole, there is nothing really to choose
between them.
