It's fine to have a filtered version for GUI display, but probably
best to use the raw value for the speed loop PID.
Filtering swaps noise for phase lag, and a PID probably works better
with a noisy input than a laggy one.
Your spindle PID should probably be mainly FF0 and I anyway.
