also the 5i25 is connected powering the 7i76 spindle encoder power which I am using (I don't have a external 5v powersupply.
If you put a multimeter on the A+ / A- and B+ / B- pairs at the 7i76 termianls and turn the encoder slowly, what do you see?
(also check that all wires are in the clamp. not under the clamp...)
