That's what I have ... I have it wired directly to the ethernet port on the Pi, I just used a normal cable, Note that when LinuxEMC takes over control of the port, you can't use it for internet/IP connectivity (or at least I can't) so you'll need some other interface in addition to that if you need to connect to a network. I did try it through the usual router, but with no success, so I just wired it direct.
