Not really. Way OT, but do not confuse gravitational *waves* with a
gravitational *field*. For a pedestrian explanation see e.g.

Many thanks for that last link, I had not seen that before, and MSN reports at the time were extremely thin on details, with enough obvious lack of understanding on the part of the
writers,  so that I promptly forgot about it as knowitall blather.

Typical of MSNews in 2017, and its far worse now.
