Memory is PC-100 , at present a 256 and 64 ECC. < $40 will get me a pair of off
brand 256 boards to add to the single. CPU is P3. I can buy a newer mb for
about $200.
First off I need to confirm that it will work as configured. I have 100’ Cat5
to the shop alll in conduit. I could go above ground and span the real distance
in about 35’.
The stg is an interesting beast; 8 channels, adc, dac, encoder and some I/O.
Some university made and sold a nice breakout board which makes wiring easy.
If a channel fails you edit the hal to reassign, lots of spares. Upward and
onward. Just got a 6’ vga cable so the monitor can go back where it belongs
instead of sitting on an apple box. One step at a time.
