Look up your motherboard on thereteoweb.com That site has information, BIOS and
driver downloads. With the last BIOS update it should be able to work with a
450 Mhz "Katmai" CPU, if it is an intel manufactured Seattle or Seattle-2
board. The 440 BX chipset's codename was Seattle, used on a large variety of
motherboards.

Get a USB 2.0 PCI card for it if you're going to use anything more than a USB
mouse and keyboard. If you're not using the two built in USB 1.x ports, see if
there's a BIOS setting or jumper to disable them.

It's 320 Mb, not Kb. It's not an 8088 or 80286 :)

I’m getting braver. Being brain impaired I tried linuxcnc (habits are hard to
break). Typing ‘emc’ worked much better. Now to go fix some wiring problems in
the estop region and maybe I can actually test. Emc 2.2 obviously will work
with 320 Kb but if I’m serious about this then maxing it out at 768 would help.
May have to jack it up and run a 5i25-7i77. Time will tell. Life gets in the
way. My youngest kid is retiring so have 12 hrs of windshield time ahead of me
this weekend. Meanwhile don’t hold your breath you might get blue in the face
waiting.

Ps. May need help with building a newer driver. However, if one of those usb
ports will work we can at least try a newer kernel.
