This looks good to me! A few suggestions:
* maybe mention that the board are volunteers?
* specifically name the outgoing members and thank them for their time
on the board
* include a quote, perhaps from last year's president?
* perhaps mention the breadth of experience that the board has? Like:
the new board has experience that spans the GNOME project, from
development to design to usability... etc.
