Hello Pln and others,

> Q1
> Are people who were leaders at school more likely to be leaders later
> in life?

I think so but it depends on what do you mean by writing leaders at
school. I know few leaders-jerks who impress other students by doing
funny things, other students seem to like them and try to follow them
- i don't think that those leader-jerks have a chance to be leaders
later in life. But if we're talking about real leaders who try to make
school look better, fight for students' rights and try to 'lead' to
positive things at school, then yes, they are likely to be good and
fair leaders in life.

> Q2
> Are there differences between man and woman as leaders?
> Why have most leaders been men?

There are for sure and I know it's hard topic to discuss as we may
hurt somebody's feelings. Nevertheless I'll try not to hurt anybody
and still write my honest opinion.
First of all, leaders-men are stronger 'in words', they're not afraid
of telling the truth and try to reach their goals. Leaders-women are
usually strong too, but unfortunately sometimes they don't seem to
tell what they think because of their fear. I have to admit that women
have a huge advantage which may sometimes be disadvantage, they are
emotional. Men often tend to make decisions that hurt a big unit
belonging to a social ladder, while women attempt not to do it.

I am sure that most leaders have been men because majority of people
see women as weak units. Even hundred years ago men were the ones who
should earn for the whole family and women ought to stay at home and
look after children. Fortunately there are many people around the
world fighting for equal rights for women.

> Q3
> What makes a bad leader? Please draw up a profile of factors.

I am not sure about the answer, probably because I'm quite young and
not really interested in politics as politicians in my country,
Poland, are truly ridiculous. I am sure that bad leaders havemany
factors that make them bad ones. I'll try to list some of which are
the worst:

- bad-looking leader - I mean not in a way ugly or non-ugly but a good
leader needs to look nicely, look like a citizen who is example to
other inhabitants of a country

- weak personality - the worst factor, leaders have to be mentally
strong because they need to fight for important rights and need to use
iron fist during negotiations.

- too emotional - leaders shouldn't be too emotional about everything
because it weakens their reputation among citizens

Have a nice weekend ;)
