Ok, I guess we don't really meet on this issue. You see it as the functionality is already there, I see it as the functionality is there but the way it's implemented it's not that usefull. I urge you to downlod Firefox, view source and hit Ctrl-F. I think that that's my best shot to try to convince you how much better that approch is to the basic search in PsPad, and especially the incremental search. Give it a try! And I have a fealing that closing a window when a user hits search or locking the editor when doing a search isn't such a big difference to you, and I totally respect that. But to me it's all the difference. I'll love PsPad, I'll guess I'll have to stick with a search function I'm not in love with... -- PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
