Two of the post bring up the focus issue. Maybe I'm mising something, but I don't really see the focus as such a big problem. When your inside the serch form (focused) and typing you can use left/right arrow, backspace or delete, Ctrl + A, Ctrl+C etc to alter the input. To toggle between results you use F3 or Shift+F3, or buttons provided in the UI. _This doesn't close the searh form or removes focus from it_. If you wan't to edit in the editor window (put focus in the editor) it's just to click with the mouse as always (well.. if you don't lock the whole editor that is..). Or you could press Enter to put the focus right where the search result is (as it works now with incremental search). Or you could use Esc or up/down arrows. Nothing strange is it? I would prefer that _this doesn't close the search form_, but this could be an option in the preferences: e.g. "automatically close the search form". This could actully be set to only affect the Enter key action, and not Esc key which always could close the form. To go back to an opened search form you either click inside it with the mouse, or use Ctrl+E, and this also select all the text inside it (just like firefox...!). The reason for picking Firefox as an example was that it's the best example I knew of, I could have used another example but Firefox is closer to the functionality I'm after. -- PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
