This seems so, yes.
And it seems to me that it's impossible to open 8 pairs in
"oxyd.extra" compatibility mode in 5 seconds. (Of course it would be
nice if someone could confirm this.)
And under these circumstances, I think this world record is impossible.
BTW: There are a few other levels with records of which I think they are
impossible.
They are, indeed. F.e. "The Builder" in 4 seconds, ...
Being aware that 0.92 scores are not reliable the scores are tagged in
1.00 with the Enigma version they have been achieved. Thus we may decide
to outdate 0.92 scores and world records in future.
0.92 scores could be cheated. But the problem with the scores of the few
persons that did submit their scores was the missing versioning of
levels. The same persons did test the levels from each other. And any
score they achieved with a prerelease was recorded. But the experimental
prereleases did often contain shortcuts which did lead to unrealistic
"world records".
For this reason 1.00 added level versioning and the "status" with its
values "released", "stable", "test", "experimental" - only "released"
levels will record scores.
BTW Enigma 1.00 records 2 scores for each level and difficulty. Your
absolute best score and the best score that you achieved with the most
recent Enigma version. If we decide to drop old scores your second score
will be valid if the best score is too old.
