Hmm, I'm confused. My Enigmail installation definitely says 1.6a1pre,
but from what I gathered there's no such version, 1.5.2 is the latest.
This is really weird.

Even weirder: I looked at the Gentoo ebuild. It says:

# Enigmail version
EMVER="1.5.1"

[...]

crypt? (
http://www.mozilla-enigmail.org/download/source/enigmail-${EMVER}.tar.gz )

And installs that directly (i.e. without any patches). So I should
have a 1.5.1 installation, but somehow ended up with 1.6a1pre.

I'll try that right away, but when the bug you described was fixed in
1.5.1 then I should already have that fix (since the ebuild pulls in
1.5.1).
