OK, so the issues you found are not related to the fix. It's always a good idea to verify if bugs you found are still present in current nightlies. Personally, I consider Patrick's nightlies stable (as long as Mozilla doesn't change APIs and Patrick did not explicitely warn that builds will be unstable). But if you prefer, after the test you may just reinstall the release version. Please file (a) bug(s).
