Actually, I'd like Enigmail to either show clearly that a key is revoked
(as one would see when querying the keyserver), or not show revoked keys
at all.

When someone is looking for the public key associated with an email
address or name, chances are pretty good that they are actually looking
for the key that has not been revoked. There is no way in the current
interface to see which is the key you need to select.

Additionally, what's the point of all the key signing, if that can not
be taken into account. Maybe Enigmail could also show in an additional
column how many signatures a particular key has?

If both things were clearly visible, someone searching for me could
easily see that one key was revoked and not signed by anyone, while the
other was valid and signed by numerous people. Picking the right key
would be easy.

I've received a few emails from people that picked the wrong revoked
key. Why make selecting the right key so difficult for the average user
and not leverage the information we have to help them in making the
right choice?

Otto
