If you're going this route, I think there are several reasons (including
storage efficiency, easier "safe" deletion, and mail diagnostics) why it
would be better to store your mails exactly as you received them, and
then just store a small lookaside cache containing the session keys for
your encrypted mails, rather than storing the decrypted mails in full.
I don't think that enigmail currently offers either option, though.
