You will get a new decrypted message looking quite the same as the
original one, except that it is decrypted. The original message will
remain unchanged.

You have to choose a folder. That's part of setting up the rule.

No, we only add a (usually hidden) message header saying that this was
originally an encrypted message.

If the message was signed and encrypted in one step, then the signature
will be removed as well. GnuPG does not have a functionality to extract
the signature from the encryption (which would theoretically be
possible). If the message was first signed and then encrypted, then the
signature will remain intact.
