That's a possible reason. To be sure, would you please create a debug log file after a startup of Enigmail (Instructions are here: https://enigmail.net/index.php/en/faq?view=topic&id=15#faqLink_6) and post it here. You may want to obfuscate personal information in the file before posting it here. Ludwig
