This looks all unproblematic. Enigmail finds gpg2 and will use it. There should be no problem at all when using Enigmail. To clarify what has happend, would you please check the output of the following commands: gpg -K and gpg2 -K (remind that K is a capital letter). If the outcome is different, then you generated your key with one gpg version, Enigmail uses the other and they have different storage systems. Ludwig
