Of course it's silly.  Note that E is project #2 on Sourceforge.  Back
then there wasn't a way to turn most things off.  Now that there is,
we've just gotten used to ignoring it.

Yup.  And people generally figure it out sooner or later. *grin*

People who install from source use it.  /usr/local/enlightenment/* is
actually fairly popular, especially with raster. :)
